Give the Gift of Hope This Christmas

This festive season, we’re proud to support two incredible local charities by offering space in our centre as a collection point for gifts. It’s a chance for our community to come together and make a real difference in the lives of families who need it most.

Who We’re Supporting

San Miguel Family Centre

Located in North Richmond, the San Miguel Family Centre provides safe, supported accommodation for young parents and their children who are experiencing homelessness. More than just a place to stay, San Miguel offers wraparound services including child development support, life skills training, counselling, and outreach assistance. Their mission is to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty and help families transition to independent living.

How you can help

  1. Take a tag from the Wishing Tree (near Helloworld) from the 17th of November.
  2. Purchase a gift.
  3. Drop off the unwrapped gift with the Helloworld team.

Hawkesbury Mayoral Christmas Appeal

Run in partnership with Hawkesbury City Salvos, this annual appeal collects new, unwrapped gifts for local families who might otherwise go without during the holidays. Donations are distributed to over 300 families in need, providing not only toys and games for children, but also essentials and support for those facing financial hardship or domestic challenges.

How You Can Help

We’re inviting you to donate new, unwrapped gifts at our centre’s collection point, located near the travelators near the Food Court (next to the Book Nook). Whether it’s a toy, book, puzzle, or gift voucher, your contribution will bring joy and comfort to someone in our community this Christmas.

Gift ideas include:

  • Toys, board games, and puzzles
  • Sports equipment and outdoor games
  • Personal care items
  • Gift vouchers from local shops

Drop-off available until Friday, 12 December.
